This website aims to help people who are researching a financial investment that has been promoted to them. We do not provide advice on investments but rather a hub of information that can assist in researching an investment opportunity and the business behind that investment. You must do your own due diligence.
The main goal is to assist our users in collating information. In turn that will hopefully aid someone's research into whether those investment opportunities are backed up by a real and honest company, whose officers and management show capability and experience in the areas required for that investment to succeed. We will group together information, news and useful content around each investment opportunity that our users come across. The goal being for that hub to include more information than the investment's promotional brochure does alone.
Investing is not entirely without risk, and even good companies with well meaning management and a good product, service or idea can fail before an investment has a chance to pay itself back. Also some of the investment opportunities that are promoted to you will turn out to have been elaborate scams. By building a community of investors, hopefully we can identify potential problems or scams early on, thereby helping others to avoid those pitfalls.
This can be achieved by investors with knowledge in particular areas providing quality feedback or information were the proposed investment matches their field of experience. Additionally the community can assist in collating news related to investments or their underlying company(s) and markets. Also we can collect statistical information about the success / failure rate of the companies and individuals behind the various investments and brokers to look for patterns, be they good or bad.
The site is split into various categories through which you can search for the investment opportunity you're trying to research. If you cannot find an investment listed here that you already have some information about, please get in touch which as much of that information as possible. Content like the promotional brochure or Information memorandum about the the investment would be very useful as it forms the starting point for an investment listing. However any information or news you have would be greatly appreciated too. We will aim to list it on the site as soon as possible for the community appraise.
